Series: 2 Corinthians

Pastor Emilio continues his series, "The Supremacy of the New Covenant".

1.) THE CONFIDENCE OF NEW COVENANT MINISTER

Confident in the work of the Spirit (2 Cor. 3.3).

Confident through Christ (2 Cor. 2.17; 3.6; Eph. 2.12; Rom. 15.18).

Confident to live the Christian life (Rom. 5.1, 11; 1 Cor. 15.57; 2 Cor. 5.18; Phil. 4.13; Eph. 1.5).

2.) THE SUFFICIENCY OF THE NEW COVENANT MINISTER

2.1, The powerless ministry of the flesh

Paul's opponents (2 Cor. 11.18-23).

2.2, The powerful ministry of the Spirit

No confidence in the flesh (2 Cor. 1.9; Phil. 3.2-6).

God makes inadequate people adequate (Ex. 4.10; Is. 6.1-8; Jer. 1.4-10; Ezk. 1.1-3.11; Amos 7.14; John 21.15-17; 1 Tim. 4.14; 2 Tim. 1.7; 2 Cor. 1.26-29).

3.) THE OBJECTIVE OF THE NEW COVENANT MINISTER

Ministry for a better Covenant (Heb. 7.18-22; 8.6-7, 13, 10.1).

The inner work of the Spirit (2 Cor. 3.3; Heb. 9.9, 14).

The reality of Jesus is more glorious than the shadows of Moses (Col. 2.16-17; Heb. 8.5; 10.1; cf. Acts 15.5).
